Adam has over 20 years of leadership experience spanning healthcare, behavioral health, staffing, and corporate services. Known for his ability to align strategy with execution, Adam has built a career transforming organizations by optimizing performance, building high-impact teams, and ensuring operational and regulatory excellence.
Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Asana Recovery, Adam oversees company-wide operations for a growing network of behavioral healthcare centers in Southern California. His role includes leadership across admissions, clinical support, HR, compliance, finance, and revenue cycle management. Since joining Asana, Adam Shandrow has led the organization through multiple expansions, implemented systems to improve efficiency, and helped establish a culture of accountability, quality, and service.
My Approach
A strategic thinker with a hands-on leadership style, Adam Shandrow redesigned the intake and admissions process at Asana to increase conversion rates by 18%, while also reducing patient AMA (Against Medical Advice) discharges by 12%. He introduced a concierge-style “Welcome Call” model and implemented workflow improvements in Zoho CRM to increase responsiveness and engagement from the first touchpoint.
